Reminder of the Big District III Championship series.

Fleet 56 members! You are being reminded! You and boat are going to have a two-day, eleven-way battle royale on the weekend of August 28 and 29!

Here's the plan: All boats will sail. Crews will be found and trained if necessary. We want any extra boats to be on offer as a challenge to club rivals with other kinds of crafts or talented outsiders. Anyone reading this from afar who might be thinking about a visit that weekend, let me know by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we'll see what we can do about getting you a ride (no promises, but do write).

Tentatively, three races each day starting at 1PM, wind permitting. A little party will happen on Saturday, perhaps with barbecue and other snack opportunities ala the Super Bowl Party. A trophy will be polished and engraved, awarded and displayed, then cherished.

Now everything else is a pointless boat =

Inverness Sailing Apes eat the low booty.

Inverness Sailing: we ploy a boat to the sea.

Inverness Sailing helps beat toy awe too.

Inverness Sailing helps eat boat toy woe.

Inverness Athlete:Oops, a wet sailing boy.

Inverness Poets loathe a wet sailing boy.

Inverness Sailing:Oh, a plot to tease wet boy.

Wet Inverness, to please a hot sailing boy.

Inverness Sailing: we too please that boy.

Inverness Sailing Boy to steal a wet hope.

Inverness Sailing: a sweet loop to the bay

Inverness Sailing: oops we late to the bay.

Inverness bay sailing: wet pool to the sea.

A boat, otherwise eleven sots plying a sin.

International One-Ten Sailors=

An insane illiterate noon sort.

No inane illiterates rant on so.

Insane, non-literate sailor...not!

Son to insane non-literate liar.

Entertains a lone liar's notion.

Note son, are intentional liars.

Entails noon resin alteration.

Entails inner alteration soon.

Triennial alterations on nose.

Inverness One-Ten Racing=

A reconvening inertness.

A tennis ring reconvenes.

Reinvent a snoring scene.

Steer a convening sinner.

Encore vets nearing inns.

Sinning vet earns encore.

Nice, insane, strong nerve.

Insane innocent vergers.

Cretins gone insane, vern.

Cover insane inner gents.

Resin given no entrances.

Nerve nests in ignorance.

Ten canoes ring in nerves.

Careening nerves in tons.

If there are three wise men to be found among the legions of International 110 sailors of the far East (or mid-West), let them follow that shiny green glow in the sky to Inverness, California, for surely a boat has been born this day surpassing all such craft yet built.
